No engine turnover intermitently

My sister has a 1994 Camaro coupe, from time to time when the key is turned in the ignition to start the engine, nothing happens, its like the battery was unhooked. When the switch is turned back and forth and started again, the engine starts right up. She has had the battery, battery cables, starter, and ignition switch replaced all within 8 months of each other. I checked the battery and it is at good voltage. Could this be a problem with the ignition switch once again? What is the problem? Any thoughts, thanks.

Either her key is worn or the switch tumbler is worn.

This car most likely has a "VATS" system.

If the key or tumbler is worn, it won't start.

Start by going to a dealership and replacing the key......if that don't work, the problem is in the ignitrion key tumbler.

They will replace that, as well....as long as she can prove she owns the car! ;
