A/C Heater........ ?????????

I'm having a lot of problems with my HVAC system. I've removed the AC so I don't care about it... the problem is affecting the fan I believe.

My HVAC system switches are working as far as activating the correct system, ie. heater, vents, defrost, but its not blowing ANYTHING.

Any ideaS? Blower motor or something else? Is there something I can check?

You need a volt meter and check to see if there is voltage to the fan motor .There are 2 connectors on the fan motor one is ground the other is positive put your meter on DC volts turn the car on and the fan controls, unplug the positive wire going to the fan motor, take both meter leads and put one on the ground terminal and the other lead into the end of the wire you unplugged, if there is voltage then you have a bad fan motor.

The blower motor is a cylindrical looking thing about 10 inches in diameter on the very passenger side of the engine compartment. Try giving it a nice hard hit with your hand while its supposed to be on. If it kicks on its your blower thats the problem.

I am having a similar problem, my blower actually works, but when I have the blower control set on high, it doesn't blow very hard, when set on high, the blower blows almost like it should be the low speed. When you have the blower set on high, should you see 12 volts at the blower?
