Tach doesn't work after Digital 6 install?
I installed an MSD digital 6 ignition, and an MSD pro billet small cap distributer (external coil) and now my autogage 5" tach doesn't work. On the old setup i had it wired to the cap of the HEI, just like the stock tach. I've tried wiring the tach to both sides of the coil, tried connecting it to the tach output on the ignition and still got nothing.
I bought the tach adapter (pn8910) as it says to do in the instructions, but now i don't know where to connect the tach. Theres only two wires on the adapter, and they both get spliced into other lines (one to power, the other to white trigger wire).
So when using the adapter, where do i connect the tach wire?

There is a plug for your tach on the same side as the wires for the magnetic trigger. I jusy got done putting in a MSD 6AL and it works without the adapter.

can't help you with the tach, as i'm in the same boat you are, but the pink power wire that was running to your cap, should now be going to the accesory power wire on the digital 6. It should be a red wire soming out of the 4 wire harness on the digital 6.
Hope that solves one problem, now does anyone have any ideas on the tach situation?
