Strange Trans Am headlight issue

I know there have been posts about the wonderful T/A headlights. Well I have a little bit of a problem and it's not the normal one.

One headlight works fine, but the other (drive side) only goes up 95% of the way and stops then the relay starts clicking (the fog light and head light on that side also blink) and it wont stop unless you screw it the rest of the way up.

Looking at a few things it seems like the motor is not getting enough power but I would have no idea why. Also I have used two motors.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem. (year is an 85)

All those things you listed have in common ground G103, which I think is located somewere on the lhs of the radiator support. See if it's loose or dirty.
