(Brief description of some problems.) 1990 z28 5.7l vortec swap. ram air intake and new fuel line with 24lb injectors. So ive previously had a problem with lack of fuel to the fuel line. I replaced the fuel filter and ive gotten some fuel to the line but not alot. When i depress the bezel at the fuel rail some fuel drips out with very minimum pressure. Not sure if it should spray out like a mist or not.
So when it actually turns over it idles pretty high 15,000rpm. If i let it sit and run it dies out after 10-15 mins. By die out i mean engine stalls and all power to the car turns off. Lights included. I have to let it sit for a few mins to turn it back over. The gages show full oil and the temp shows pretty cool. It goes up but stops around the 1/4 mark.
Could it be that the engine is stalling due to lack of fuel? Could The fuel pump not be getting the full voltage? If it pumps that means the pump is operational correct? Thanks guys just trying to get the car up and running as im leaving hawaii soon back to the main land and the wife wants me to leave her here . If i can get her running maybe someone on island would want the car. other wise i'll have to smash her as none of the dealers want her . Rather give it away to someone who will love my first car then to smash it :/.

 

Fuel pump is going out one, and two you need to adjust your idle.
