I was also thinking about getting the MSD 6A in the MSD super HEI kit which is a 6A box, blaster 2 coil, and dust cover. Plus getting new wires, cap, and rotor.
I would also like to know of any difference or experiences?

I put a 6AL on my 89 TBI, along with superconductor wires, headers, MSD GM blaster coil(I had the headers, wires and coil on for a while before the 6AL), and adding the 6AL improved my MPG and start-up/throttle response
