there were two relays there but it wasnt any of those.
there was a different type of relay there that had some sort of bad wiring and that seem to be the one,it had a six pin rectangular connector not a six pin square...like the other two...

First off, what seems to be wrong with the relay?
Second, It happens to be one of those in that particular corner, but you can only tell through the wiring harness coloring: The relay has the following wiring colors:
2 orange wires
1 tan/white stripe
1 green/white stripe
and 1 black/white stripe
The wires are probably coated in grease, so they will need to be wiped off so you can tell what color they are. My guess is that maybe the one relay with the broken wiring is the one you seek.

There is nothing wrong with the relay...
I need to fit a mechanical fuel pump in order to run the 650 cfm holley....Other wise the pump will continue to pressurise the system causing mechanical pump failure or carb problems....

When you remove it, set it aside. GM uses that exact same relay for a lot of things that control the engine. You might need it sooner or later.

OOPS!!
I have removed the fuel pump relay a month ago which stopped the system priming.....But now when i crank the engine for a second or two the fuel pump still kicks in and floods my nice new holley i have just fitted???
How come the stock tpi fuel pump is still working......I am hoping it has not damaged my mechancal fuel pump.....
How can i stop the fuel pump working ....why is it still working i have removed all the fuses other than the ecm fuse which i need to leave in due to the vat system......
i have a points distributer so thats not triggering the ecm.
i can still hear a click when the pump operates the click comes form behind the firewall and all relays near the brake booster are disconected...
Help!!!:lala:

If you were running a fuel injected system before, pull the two fuses for the fuel injectors at the fuse block. The fuse for the second bank of injectors also is the fuel pump fuse. It is labeled FP/INJ2.

Along with tricksters advice, unplug the oil pressure switch above the oil filter. In the event the FP fails (or in your case, is gone), the oil pressure switch is a failsafe to keep the FP alive so you're not stranded. Once 5 or so psi is met, the switch closes and power is sent to the FP.
