If you are referring to the wires that go to the starter solenoid, the purple wire goes to the small post marked "S". The other wires go to the large post on the solenoid.

none of them are purple.

theres two wires with some heat shielding that run down there. there both red, ones small and the other ones bigger.

i put the small one on the small post. and i put the big one on the big post, along with a black wire that goes to the battery.

i havnt tried starting it yet because i havnt put the radiator and distributer on yet. the fuel and vacum lines arnt hooked up yet either.

i guess i just want to know if i have it right. two wires on the fat post, and one on the skinny post.

there is a purple wire- (or at least it looks purple. there dirty) its running along with the revers lights wire that plugs into the tranny. It kinda runs along with them and then branches off. I figured its the red ones because of the metal heat shielding around them. the starter wires are real close to the exhaust after all...

Big to big and small to small should work.
