I'm building a 355 carb motor to put in my 88 trans am. I'd like to keep the origonal digital dash but I dont know if I can run those gauges without a computer. Would a GTA cluster fix the prob or can I run the ol KIT dash?

The gauges should operated the same without the computer. The only hard part will be finding out what wires are what.

 

i am 99.9% shure it will work b/c i put a digital dash in my carb. t/a and it works and doesn't use the computer. what r u doin with your tpi setup b/c i want to swap my t/a over to tpi.

I'm running a TBI setup. It's a Holley Pro-Jection 670 cfm throttlebody with GM injectors and matching manifold. They'll probly be for sale after I swap the engine with a buncha other fuel injection stuff like vaccume adjustable fuel pressure regulator and an assortment of other injectors and regulators.
