Speedo needle bouncing around.... recommendations?!??!
Well, it always did this from around 5mph till about 30, and then smoothed out, but now its eradic all the way up till about 90-95 before it smoothes out.... Is this a sign that I need a new speedo cable or is it the actual instrumentation?!?! Any help appreciated guys!

Before you blame the speedo cable, try lubing it
Get some spray graphite. Disconnect the cable from the back of the speedo, spray the graphite inside the cable, reconnect. Then spray some inside the end that connects to the tranny.
This will usually help, or cure altogether, the cool shaky needle syndrome.

Mine bounced around during the last winter when the speed was over 50mph. I had to replace the headlight switch so I figured while I was at it, I might as well try to lube the cable. All I had was WD40 so I sprayed that into the cable. So far this winter no problems. Speedo is steady. Have fun disconnecting the speedometer cable. It looks hard but the clip releases it fairly easy. Pull the cable out and clean and lube the cable. Getting it back on is another problem. I used needle nose pliers down from the top to grasp the cable. It snaps in fairly easy.
