There is a little hook like bracket on the right side of the steering column that the harness slides over. Here is an illustration of it.

Ok,

The two black ones connect together and the clear plastic one connects to the ignition switch assembly on the left side of the steering column.

Like half of the long male one goes into the balck one, and then something else to the other half? if so which half do they go?

On yours, there might be two connectors that go into the long black one. The last four pins on it are for the audible warning for when you open the door and leave the key in the cylinder. On mine, there is only one long connector.

Okay, the one marked on car wiill be the one closest to the firewall and therefore will be the last segment. It will fit over the segment with the six pins. The segment with the four pins will be the first segment. Sorry for the confusion, been looking at too many schematics today.
