A/C Delete wiring
Im deleting my AC at the moment.Ive got a AC delete fan box and blower but i need to know what to do with all the wires that used to run the A/C.Such as the connections on the compressor itself, and the one going to the evaporator. Can i just cut these out of the wiring loom?
Also what is the small plastic cannister on the firewall just above the brake booster. It has a vacuum line running from the intake to it and then from it to the heater controls
Cheers

DO NOT Cut the wires, just tie them back to the harness. As for the vacuum canister, you need this to be able to make the heater switch fro floor to vent to defrost.

I removed my vacuum canister and my vents work fine. I removed it because the manuals I looked at showed a vacuum cap on the engine and no canister.

I wired up my ac delete box about a month ago. I got the wiring schematics for the ac system and the non ac system then just cut a bunch of wires and spliced about four, and i was set. Since the non a/c motor only has three speeds and the a/c one has four, I wired the first two speeds into the first resistor, then the 3rd into the second and fourth into the third. Works fine. My compressor wires were already cut so i just shortened them up, taped it good and stuck it in a wire loom. Can't really see the wiring too well in this picture but it's the best I have of the box.

I changed the ends on my blower motor plug and mouted my relay to the firewall. Older cars do not have to change the plug. My non A/C blower works on all 4 speeds of my fan controls.
