speedo problem

Recently when i was driving i notice my speedo sort of hopping around, so it stopped and i thought nothing of it. Now it's starting again. It will be at like 50mph and then drop to zero and then back up and will bounce kind of. It will only do it when i have the lights on. Also when i have my lights there used to be this light that would come on. It's the light that tells you that your high beams are on but it will also light up the turn signals. Anybody experience this?

Sounds like a problem with the circuit board in the instrument cluster. Your high beam indicator is a seperate light from your turn signal indicators. If it doesn't work, it is probably a burned out light bulb and needs replacing. If I remember correctly, your instrument cluster is electronic and does not have a speedo cable. So check it for a short.
