I bought a 350 out of a 95 truck and i stuffed it in my 85 camaro, the 95 motor has a serpintine type belt and the alternator is on the drivers side of the motor, the alternator has 4 prongs instead of two like the old passenger side alternator, how(wich prongs ) do i run the wires to?

Which alt does it have. Is it a CS 130, or CS 130D? The "D" version does not have an external fan that's how to identify it. It does not matter if the old alt only had 2 pins, newer GM units all have 4 but in some cases only one is needed. You can if you want simply pull off the pulley and spacer and install them on the old alt just to simplify things. Just make sure the clocking of the mounts will line up correctly. Also, if the plugs are the same that will tell you which one you have. The "D" and the 130 use different plugs. Let me know which one you have.
