I have heard that there is no problem putting a Corvette chip from the same year into my 92 Camaro does anyone have any knowledge of this?


I need to know if this will cause any problems or cause any trouble lights to come on......................

 

well that corvette has tpi or i think an lt1 in 92. u have tbi which is a different eletronic injection setup.

so i dont see it working at all.

look into www.tbichips.com or a place like that for the right chips for ur car.

 

I agree, must be the same engine configuration. There were rumors about GM always underrating the camaro's so the vette's had more advertised horsepower. Don't know if it's true or not. My neighbors 91 vette has crossfire injection. Usually so called performance chips are a waste of money. Most times it's only a more aggressive timing curve and then you need premium fuel all the time. Best bet, leave it alone.
