hey fellas i got a tuffy for ya. ok i got a 84 camaro that has a 350 carb engine in it. heres the weird part...u can put a brand new battery on it and it will go dead in 1 1/2 wks. if you dont crank it often. Im scared to drive it anywhere on account of this condition. well fellas let me know what it might be.

check for drains. what it sounds like is when you let the car sit, something is draining it and when you crank it the alternator charges it back up. i see this at least once a day in work ( run a battery lane every other day ) i check wit ha light or go some place wit ha diagnostics machine. do you have a broken accesory like a rear defrost or light? have an aftermarket radio? radios, auto starts and alarms are the 1st things id check. i had the same problem on an iroc i used to have, turned out it was the switch on the drivers side power seat
