safely deleting factory wiring for road turn all drag car
I have decided to turn my 85 Berlinetta all out drag - and have begun the process of stripping it out completely!
It was a digital dash- speedo & tach doesn't work or can't be seen (I have autometer tach) - and check warning lights section stays lit all the time
However I am trying to preserve
1) operation of the oil, volt and temp dash gauges, and
2) the essential wiring for alternator/distributor (non computer
type) and the head and tail lamps;
How do I go about stripping out all non-essential interior wiring, especially the heavy wiring looms under dash going to computer on passenger side - and the heavy wiring loom in engine bay just in front transmission tunnel
Has anyone done this ?
One idea I figured once I can follow charging wiring and heavy ignition wire, all the rest can be terminated at main fuse block
What do you think??
(( and no, I don't want to buy a new painless wiring block or
rewire car completely))
