Axle/Gears: 2.77 10 bolt
V8 and V6 starter
Hi everyone,
How compatible are the V6 and V8 starter motors? My starter motor needs a new armature and I can get one from a V6. Will an armature from a 1982 V6 engine (VIN code 1) replace an armature from a 1982 V8 (VIN code H)? Or, can I simply swap my starter with the one from the V6?
