Look what I found!
I think I finally found the cause of my ever-elusive no-start problem. This is the pigtail that connects my coil to my distributor. I took it off and removed the wire loom (in search of the fabled tach filter) and when I flipped it over, this is what I discovered.
The white wire is completely broken through, only being held on by a small piece of insulation. The pink wire is on it's way there too, but is still pretty solid.
Does anyone know where I might find a new one? I can't splice this one back together, as it's broken off flush with the connector.

If you brought the connecter to a dealer they would probably fix it with some wire to solder on. You can try to fix it yourself also. there is a locking clip you have to unhook. Use a paperclip from the wire side to try and release it then you can just pull the wire out of the connector.

Try a local auto parts store..ask for a coil pigtail for your car specifically. Two butt splices or as I prefer solder it onto your existing wires in the car's harness..plug it in..and you are good to go.

I know Painless wiring has them and so does MSD, Holley, and just about every other company out there that sells aftermarket ignitions or wiring harnesses
