Starter Wiring
Alright, my wiring to my starter popped out of the protective casing and then singed to the manifold, I hotwired it. I tried to wire it the way it was suppose to be and then put my car into a garage for a machanic to give it a wack, and then he told me that the wiring harness may need to be replaced. Is it possible for this to happen just from melting to the manifold? As of right now, it is still hotwired, the battery wire from the starter to the ignition is directly wired to the battery and the starter was tapped into the wiring in the ignition so that it acts normally as if it were wired properly, only downfall is that it the nuetral park switch doesn't work?? I also installed a new nuetral/park switch myself and the mechanic also checked it, but he said it wasn't the problem or that it shouldn't be, ??
