I just got a 1993 s10 and it started up fine then I shut it off and flipped a switch on the dash now its acting like a starter kill is on. There is a flip switch and a button. I looked under the dash and saw a gm security box that is hooked up. I can't figure out how to disable it, I don't have vats. Im stumped, anyone know about these non vats gm security systems? thanks

I disconnected the battery and reconnected it now it works fine
