Completely dead, then fine......check it out.

I have a very wierd problem with my electrical circuit...I was starting my car and it crank over like normal for a half second then cut out, everything cut out,no lights no selnoids clicking,no fuel pump, nothing.

The first thing I thought of was a loose battery connection. I took off both cables, tested the battery and it was fine, even under a load tester. Cleaned and replaced both cables, nice and tight, and still nothing at all. I hooked a battery charger and set it to 12V boost and still nothing at all to the car.

At this point I figure since there is no electricity going to anything in the car that a fusible link is burnt out. I went to the tool box to grab a set of wrenchs to take out the cables and check the links and when I walked back to the car the interior light was on. Sat down and it cranked right up, with no problems.

Maybe the battery cable was just loose i figured? It ran fine for 3 or 4 days and today I went to go to lunch and again it cranked for a half second and the whole elec system went down.

So my question is do 1992 third gen's have a Circuit breaker that resets itself once it cools? Or do you think it might be a fusible link that is starting to go bad?

my B4C is dead also . ive replaced the starter 3 times, at first the meatheat that had the car before me wired the fans to the ingition coil (STUPID !) and cranked the timing to 11 degrees ! . that eventually led to the death of my car ..... a few months later i brought it in to a shop and had the fans , pump and starter on seprate circuts in order to bypass the anti-theft system . i drove the car for an hour and the CEL came on , and when i pluged it in it said that there was an EGR system failure.

lol that was last years problems ... now im struggling with getting power to my car , my friend charged the battery with the ingition on and when it got to 60% everything went dead. my question to everybody is this.... the possitive cable connects to the alt , and starting circuits( ,, inside that junction that connects the circuts, is there a fuse or link that could be fried causing the car to have no power at all ? because every ground and fuse in my car is fine ive checked them all ... somebody please help.

No.

The most likely cause of your problem is a loose or dirty connection on the
+ battery cable at the starter.

I had the same problem, then my starter wires fried. Itwas my harness connector (where all the wires connect into the firewall on the drivers side) it was loose and i didn't even know.

there is a block on the pasanger side next to the bat with 4 power wires bolted to it it has 2 fusable links . I had a problem with the conections at this location there is a nut holding all the ends together take nut off sand each wire and nut put back together . make sure your ground from bat goes to motor NOT body. with no head lights seems like the block .
