damn relay... Trickster?
So I just replaced my damn starter-enable relay (aka anti-theft relay) which cost me $8. I turned the key, and it fired right up. I turned the car off, then tried to turn it on again a few minutes later (after I put everything back together!) and it didn't work. So I think I'm killing relays. What would be causing this? Why the hell won't anything go my way lately? Is this what Hell is like?

I'll post what I did publicly, just in case anyone else knows... I took the old relay out (that relay-holder is a bxtch) and took the cover off it to see how it worked; standard relay. I was trying to see if I could find anything wrong with it physically by looking at it, but I didnt see anything. I put the new relay in exactly the way the old one was (theres only one possible way). I turned the key with the interior pieces dangling, and it fired right up. I put everything back together and it didn't want to work again. I do not think there is a short in any wire, because I tried wiggling things to no avail.
For now, I continue to hotwire my car... at least I made it more civilized; there is a toggle switch on it hahaha

Good luck and stay out of trouble. Hope you have better luck with the finals than you're having with the car.

Does Murrays take returns at different stores, or only the particular one I purchased the relay at?

I don't have a Murray's here, but if it is another murray store they should honor it as long as you still have the receipt. The various parts stores I deal with here do.
