eliminate VATS

i just swaped a 89 camaro 305 TBI into my s-10 blazer i used the camaro harness and computer. everything is done but i have no injector pulse. when i scan the ecm i get code 53 VATS problem. i dont have the vats module and dont want to use it. how do i bypass this. ive tried using a ecm from a 89 truck (trucks dont have vats) but it doesnt seem to work (scan tool wont communicate with this ecm installed)

Best bet would be to send away for a chip that deletes the vats or order one from a dealer for a car that didnt use vats but had the 305 tbi motor.

Other option is to wire up a vats module and hardwire a resistor in or use an aftermarket module that tricks the system.
