Okay, I have a question about putting in a relay for some fog lights. What I am wanting them to do is when I turn on the power to them they turn on, of course, but when I turn something else on they will shut off. I figured putting in a relay would do ths. What I am trying to do is that when I turn on my parking lights a set of lights turn on, but when I turn on my turn signal it will pulse the relay to turn the lights on and off. Let me know if this is possible and how I would go about doing it. I know I will need at least 1 relay for each light but any help would be greatly appreciated.

soi you want the fogs to blink like blinkers along with the blinkers ?

is your car pre wired for fogs(under the dash) if os then you may be in luck

if you wanted this to happen then you would only have to splice hte blinker leads up to the high beam wire on the factory relay connector, that way if you put your highson they would still turn off like they are suppposed to, and when you put your blinkers on they would pulse.

if it is factory wired in the inside, all you need to do is add the fuse and relay to the plug that is under the dash

 

No, my car does not have factory fog lights. I have a set of fog lights hooked up right now as the blinkers. My factory blinkers could not be used because of the knight rider nose on my car. They work great as blinkers with out any problems. Now I am wanting them as the front parking lights and blinkers. I know that the factory blinkers have a dual fillament in them to make them work as blinkers but I figured if I could put in a relay so that when I turn on my parking lights, the relay will turn on the fog lights but when I turn on the blinkers, the relay with switch on and off making the fog light blink. This is what I am trying to achieve. If anyone knows how to wire up the relay to do this, please let me know. I dont have any relays at the moment to test to see how I could do it.
