wiring

hey,
If I trade wiring harnesses (interior) with another car like mine, will vatts be an issue?

Also, does the wiring harness need to come from a car with the same engine/tranny combo? I have a '91 z28 with a 305 TPI 5 speed. Do I need to find one with the same options?

Only if you change out the VATS control module or don't wire it up.

anyone know what cars (years/options) I would get to choose from to find the exact same wiring harness as in my car?

The years available to you are 91 - 92 and possibly some 90's. And if you want a swap out of a wire harness like yours, you would have to have basically the same options in both cars.
