Like a cancer... code 33
Hello all
A few months back my 87 TA 350 TPI, AT threw code 33. Symtoms included hesitated while cruising, stalled at stop lights.
Searched the board
Did what was suggested
Changed both relays and then MAF sensor
Problem fixed, thanhk you all

Washed engine bay last weekend, code 33 came back.
Symtom this time is high RPM at idle, stalling at WOT, surging ...
Also, code 21 (Throttle Position Sensor) came up once
Checked all connectors, swapped relays then put a new MAF sensor (Microtech... life time warranty at Trak Auto) to no prevail.
What possible be the problems and what should I do next?.

Did you look for corrosion on the relay connectors? You did say you cleaned the bay... That would be the first thing I'd look for...
