Anyone use Snap-on Scanner (mt2500)?
I just bought a Snap-on scanner on ebay and I got a cig lighter power cord from the snapon web site. I still don't have the data cable or GM1 connector yet.
Now here are dumbest two questions of the month...
1) where do I plug this power cord into the scanner and
2) how do I turn the scanner on?
When I hold down the red button I get power from the internal 9volt but as soon as I let up it shuts off. It that supposed to be a toggle switch and mine is broken? And where does this power cable plug in? Is there another part I need that I don't know about?
Can someone please save me from buying a $75 owner's manual from the crooks at Snap-On and tell me how this thing fires up?
Thanks!

Been a while since i used one of them but i think the power cord goes on the right hand side. Looks kinda like a head phone jack if i remember correctly. It will come on when it gets power from an externl source. The button you describe is working properly.
