Wiring to Fuel Pump
Im just about ready to fire up my new ZZ4/HSR/Commander 950
My question is about wiring up the fuel pump.
Its still the in tank GM one but because ive removed the ECM and all the wiring,im left only with the tan wire running from the tank(got an earth wire and a pink one too)
The original wiring ran through the oil pressure switch on the back og the engine, but the wiring for this and the fuel pump relay came out with the ECM loom.
Can any of you advise the best way to wire it up now.?

Pink wire goes to the gauge fron the sending unit, black wire grounds to the floorpan near front of drivers seat, tan wire goes to oil pressure switch and fuel pump relay. The pink wire and the ground wire are okay as they are, just not exactly sure about the tan wire routing

I would wire it up like so:
Relay with power for the pump coming from the battery and the ignition controlling the relay.
Or, if you want to get fancy, run a switch between the ignition and the relay so you can keep the pump from coming on, this would keep people from using your car if they don't know where the switch is.
