Clifford Alarms

I've got a Clifford alarm that was installed several years ago. When i arm it now there are 2 chirps and then 2 more chirps. I found a manual that said a sensor could be malfunctioning....i highly doubt that since it was working when i parked the car for a couple years. I did pop the fuse out and instead of a 25 i threw in a 20 amp fuse just to test it...could this be causing the problem?

Any other ideas?

If its like my Clifford alarm it will be telling you that you had the alarm set off. On my car two chirps after I arm/disarm or use my keyless entry of auto window-up function will mean that a door has been opened while armed. IIRC depending on the type of alarm you can program a different chirp sequence to let the alarm tell you what part of it was compromised. IE doorpin switches one chirp or glass breakage two chirps, voltage supply loss three chirps, ect. When my car does this my light will usually flash the same code right after I disarm the car. I have to manually enter my code on my dipstitch to clear the alarms memory.
