Wire Diagram needed
I'm doing some research into a swap I plan on doing as soon as I can ditch my 2.8. It's been a real PITA and I'm just growing tired of it not running all the time. So, I've decided to part the thing out and swap in a 3.4. Here's the catch: a TOTAL swap of a 3.4 if that is possible, meaning I don't do anything to the engine other than drop it in and possibly change some bracketry, and throw in the ECM and harness while I am at it so I don't have to swap intakes or any of that shiz...
The main thing I am looking for is a pinout of the ECM power connector that connects the dash wiring harness to the ECM harness to provide power. I believe it is either a 10 or 12 pin connector with 2 separate connectors in the ECM harness for whatever reason. I may be able to find wire colors upon request, however, I do know there were a lot of purple wires in the connector along with orange ones.
P.S. Congrats to Trickster on his becoming a mod! (I did find out what all the extra wiring was in the rear and it turned out to be some idiot's idea of a trailer harness installation, but the pulldown motor housing broke and that is another story)

Hello Maverick,
Bummer about all that extra wiring back there and thanks for the congrats. On your 3.4 swap-out, are you planning on just putting your old 2.8 manifold onto a 3.4L engine. Just a question so I can check the pin out for you.

I mean all of the 2.8 crap coming out and the 3.4 stuff going in. I'd rather not have to mess with valve adjustments if I don't have to. Besides, I like a challenge and have the whole summer to do the project.
In case you aren't sure as to what connector I am referring to, it is a clear connector that connects to two black ones at the other side.
