New Viper alarm
Hey i just got my viper 791vx alarm installed and it works great. Question about sensitivity of the shock sensor..how can you make it more/less sensitive? I can do that my on my own right, i dont hafta go to the viper person to set it, do i?

there should be a screw to turn on the box/sensor
check HERE , they make the viper and I am pretty sure they have manuals on there site

Where is the sensor usually. im sure it varies by install but where would you look? I hafta call the guy that put mine in, but he hasnt returned my call yet. he did a great job i just want it to be a lil more sensitive.
Usually under the dash strapped or screwed to solid metal, or ziptied to a large harness. I.E. Column, firewall, ignition harness, etc...
Most installers would prefer that you bring it back to them for adjustment, so they know nobody monkied with anything. Chances are if you get it way out of adjustment, he's gonna be upset with you. On the upside, it's not all that hard to adjust
Usually just one screw to adjust sensitivity on the vipers.
It's a little plastic box about .75"x1.5", with a small black wrapped harness going to it with 3 or 4 wires in it IIRC. It's been almost a year since I've been out of that game
