well, i'm in the process of doing a 4th gen dash swap....the dash is from a 95-96 firebird, and is going into my 85 bird. The instruments are from a 96 firebird, i also have the complete wiring harness until it entered the firewall from the new dash. I've done a ton of the wiring that i've seen on this board from the 4th gen dash swappers, and i'm having soem serious gremlins that i've gotta work out. As of now the tach isn't coming on, dash lights aren't working, security, traction, abs, and a few other lights aren't going off....on the contrary, i do have functional fuel, oil pressure, engine temp, and battery charge guages....so, only a few issues there....

Also, my headlights aren't working either, an issue i guess i need to fix here at some point and time, i'm just curious as to where my issue lies....the 4th gen wiring was slighty different than my third gen, the third gen had 2 yellow wires, a red wire, brown wire, and a black one. The 4th gen had one yellow, one red, one brown, one gray and one white....wasn't exactly sure how those are supposed to be setup so my headlights will pop up, i do have them coming on however, just nothing triggering the motors to move.

Also, if anyone has 4th gen wiring diagrams i'd appreciate them, it'd never hurt to be able to see what i'm "trying to do" however, i do have hope that i will get this thing working well....( a big plus) and to say the least, it looks good as is. just need it working so i can work on fixing my stallin out issue. thanks in advance to anyone and everyone who can help, and all those who offer any sound advice what-so-ever.
