Compuiter Mounting Spot
ok, here is the deal. I built a computer for my car. I have a 1988 Pontiac TransAm. The computer I built is in a case that is 10.5" wide by 11.5" long by 2.5" high. I want to put this somewhere wher I can still have access to the front jacks so I can work with the DVD ROM/CD Burner and the front side USB Ports. Under the seats is obviously out of the question as I have the sport seats from a GTA in there and there is no room underneath it due to the junk for the electrical part of the seats.
Any ideas would be greatly apreciated.

i dont think there is any good spot, the best spot for something of that size and shape if you still want easy access to it would just be to mount it behind the rear seat
of course, then you have a computer sitting behind your rear seat and putting anything up there becomes a no no
pretty much if you want to add something to this car, you have to take something out first.. or kill some of the already limited storage space
you could kill the glove box and make it the home for your computer, or maybe you can manage to work it in underneath/behind the glovebox and stlil have access to both
or you could build a smaller computer and mount an external cdrom somewhere easy to access and hide the computer under the panels somewhere

Hmm...you have given me some ideas...
I was wondering. Has anyone removed their dash. What is behind that pouchy thing?
