I may be wrong here but I do believe that is called the left hand actuator relay for the left headlight door.

Well I did say I may be wrong here. I had just gotten through responding to a post on a 86 firebird and it must have given me a brain fart. It does appear to have a fusible link and is on the drivers side.

It seems a little too far forward for it but do you have foglamps?

The foglamp relay is located on that side and does have a fusible link going to it. However on my 89 it is located back towards the firewall under the hood strut.

I can double check my car tomorrow but i'm pretty sure that is the foglight relay. The fuel pump relay is on the firewall and the fan relays are next to the battery.
