I need a fuse panel diagram for my 87. I have nearly every option except for the hatch release (soon hopefully), power mirrors, and the power driver's seats. If you will excuse my French, the ******* that owned the car before me was a complete idiot. Not only did he change 70% of the fuses in the panel to the wrong ratings, but he rubbed out most of the lettering on the panel that says what the fuse ratings should be and what they control. So I am stuck replacing the fuses while scratching my head as to what amp rating I should use. Some I have made out, others are real fuzzy, and other lettering is, well, gone. Can anyone help? I don't really want to have a car fire in the near future...

I think the lettering just fals off on it own. I have had some extremely clean GM vehicles that have had no writing on the panel.

Ive seen it happen with TV remotes and things. Too much rubbing of your fingers over the lettering rubs the lettering off after a while...

Hello Maverick,

I don't have my 87 manual yet, however I do have a owners manual for a 86 firebird, This is the layout for it, don't know if this will help or not but you can try it.

Thanks again Trickster. I wouldn't have needed to post if my crappy Haynes manual had ANYTHING in it related to a Firebird, and the fact that some idiot misplaced my owners manual, along with the other important documents (RPO code sheet, tire loading info, etc) related to the stuff I need to fix...
