Car: 86 T/A, 86 z28, 79 berlinetta, 69 chevelle (totally rusted)
Engine: 350's in the f-bodys. 327 in the works for the T/A, MIGHT go with a 383, none in the chevelle
Transmission: T/A has a 5-speed, z28 has a 700-r4, th-350 in the 79' (5 or 6-speed soon), and none in the chevelle

You can turn the setting from off to A/C up to Heat, the lever slides no problem, the low, medium, hi fan switch turns fine, but nothing happens when you mess with them.

The car was originally a v-6. I capped all the grounds that go to the back of the block, cause when they touched ground W/ the ignition on the fuel pump ran. I took the fuel pump out of the tank when I put the 350 in, and I have still never hooked those grounds up (the ones that go on the back of the motor) This is the only thing I can think off Are these grounds needed for the blower motor to work?

EVERYTHING else on the car works.

BTW the HTR/AC fuse IS good, Is there a relay or different fuse somewhere else?

Have you tested for power at the blower resistor ? (plug on the a/c box).
If, even on full high you still get no fan, there's a problem at the switch or, the fan motor is dead. Jump +12v to the purple wire on the blower motor to see if it works.

got it figured out. Wasn't grounded. I was looking at the purple wire and saw the ground by it, so I followed it and it was one I had capped off. Works fine now. Thanks
