Gauges to Digital

I have been having dash light issues, i've torn down my dash and am currently chasing a wire (I've found that i get power at the dimmer switch, so I think I should be able to figure out the problem easily now). But anyways, since i had my dash out I was thinking maybe i'll swap in a digital dash out of a GTA, any thoughts on if its a good idea and if I can just put the new cluster right into place? My car's an 88 Trans Am.

Also while on the topic of instrument clusters, will a camaro cluster fit in fine in the same fashion? I've never really liked the Firebird clusters and this seems like a good chance to rid myself of it.

Well before anybody wastes time on a reply i thought i oughta just say i changed my mind, i chased the wire into another mess of wires that i'm not going to deal with, guess i'll run my own lights from the switch to the gauge pods.

I've always liked the Trans Am analog gauges over my Camaro gauges myself.

I wonder if Swapping Trans Am Analog Gauges, Dash and Console into a Camaro would be just a simple bolt in kinda job?
