fog light wiring question

the foglights in my T/A only come on if the headlights are on. Is there a way I can hook them up so they're on an individual switch?

dont know if u feel like cuttin wires or not, but you could use a voltmeter to find out wich wires goin into the lights are hot. Cut the hot wires and be sure to cap em off so they cant touch metal(and pull your foglight fuse to) Run new power wires off the foglights to a relay, hook relay up to a switch and power it off the fuse box. Thats the best way i can think of off the top of my head but if you took your time it would look fine and work great.

Ooops...just to clarify if your unfamiliar with relays u would get the juice for the switch off the fuse box, the relay it self should be powered off the batery.
