Alternator question
Hey All,
I think my alt is slowly dying. Basically when I start my car the volt meter shows 13.8 Volts however after a while of driving it drops down to about 13.2 Volts. I am sure if I keep driving the volts will drop down to the 12V area.
I was shopping around and I found a 140amp alt made by Power Master. It even comes in Chrome (how sexerific) which would be sweet cuz everythign else under the hood is chrome...might as well follow suit.
Has anyone heard of powermaster before? Is it a good alt. Crappy Tire wants $350 for the thing however it comes with a lifetime warranty which is good cuz I am probably gonna kill it with the stereo like I am doing to my little 90 amper now.
any advice would be greatly apreciated.
