Bright's on / foglight issue

My foglights don't work anymore. My normal lights work fine but when I put my brights on my foglights come on AND the passenger side headlight is VERY dim, driver's side headlight is bright. Foglight switch does not make a difference if it is on or off when the brights are on (the foglights still stay on and pass side headlight is still dim).

I know this is an electrical problem, but can somebody give me an idea of where to look?

The only electrical change is both radiator fans are hardwired to come on with the ignition. I had my mechanic do that and I think he went though the relays to do it.

Help!!!

I dont know why your mechanic would have messed with that, but it sounds like hes using one of the wires going to your highbeams as a trigger for a foglight relay, but powering the foglights by tapping into your passenger side headlight wiring...

man that is just too weird.... If he messed with the headlight wiring changin your fans around are you sure they are coming on with igniton??? maybe he hooked em up to your lights for some reason. If you just get in there and start backtracking down the wiring from the lights you should be able to see if anything was chopped.
