Cut Wrong Wire?

The pic shows two connector ends. The green wired one in the pic goes to the temp sensor on the drivers side head. The purple wired one I think goes to the O2 sensor. I was cutting out wires I no longer needed, and think I cut the wire for the O2 sensor. Can someone confirm my suspicions? This is on an 88 IROC with the 5.7. Thanks Guys.

Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
The only other purple wire (besides the O2) in that immediate area would be for the wipers. There is another heavy purple wire that goes to the starter solenoid as well.

The wire on the left with the weatherpak connector is for the O2 sensor and the connector on the right is for the coolant temp sending unit.

Damn,, so I did cut the wrong wire.. Guess I was over zealous when I was getting rid of wires. I don't need the green one, I'm going with a mechanical temp gauge.
Thanks Guys!!!!

PS, this is gonna suck finding the wire to splice back into now.
