200mph speedo in my IROC?

Many months ago I searched and found a thread with a link to where I could buy a stock looking 200mph speedo for our cars.
I just can't seem to find the thread now!

My car is an 88 IROC 305TPI with cruise control and a 115mph speedo.

Can anyone tell mewhere I can get the stock looking 1200mph speedo?

Or if they aren't available anymore, if any 145mph Camaro speedo will fit and work? I don't know if mine is mechanical or electronic so I wouldn;t know which to buy (as I heard a rumour that later cars had electronic speedos?)...

I dont know about a stock looking 200mph speedo, but if you really want something that high most of the digital aftermarket speedos are good to 200 or 300mph, also autometer makes a 160 and a 200. But if you are trying to keep it stock this might do the trick for ya ------->Speedo

Man i have way too much free time.

What's the speed sensor it mentions?

I presumed I just unplugged the speedo cable from my old gauge and plug it into the new one?

Why do I need to change the speed sensor?

$100 for just the gauge, that's rediculous. i've see the entire cluster for for cheaper than that all the time. the whole cluster is probably easier to swap too.
