Using 2 ecm's?
This idea just came to me briefly yesterday..and I don't even know if it's possible or practical...so please be nice.
If it possible to run 2 ecm's with a toggle switch between them,...one with a very radical tune...one with a conservative, fuel efficient tune? Would you be able to switch on the fly while driving?

The goal you want to reach is possible, but not with using 2 ecm's. There are prom adapters that are capable of storing multiple bins and allow for switching between them. I'm not very familiar with them so i won't be able to provide any more insigh. I suggest doing some searches in the DIY PROM board.
