Heat and A/C probs

At first i'd turn it on vent and after awhile the fan would kick on like it was intermitant. NOw you turn it on and nothing happens. I think everything else is fine cause if I turn A/C on the compressor kicks on and when i turn vent on you can feel cooler air trickling out of the vents. I'm not even sure really where the blower is but can you guys help me out. Thanks. Oh it's a 1991 Z-28

When you lift the hood the blower is on the drivers side bolted to the fire wall. There's a plastic cover over it. Its right next to the air con. (at least that's where it is on an 82)

blower is on the PASSENGER side by the a/c. does the fan work on "high" or not at all? might be the resistor, also located by the blower. also could be the relay...

He's in Ireland so it might be on the drivers side for him.

Give the blower a nice whack with your fist. If it comes on you need a new blower motor. Otherwise youll have to do some electrical troubleshooting.

SORRY!, I'm used to looking at Right Hand Drive cars. Yes it's on Passenger side.

Did it again

Well I went to leave today and the blower worked.
And it is not again so it is intermittent. I'll have to dig into it and see if there is a wire loose or something. Thanks.

I'd check the resistor, relay, control head switch, and blower brushes (in that order) with a voltmeter.
