average amp draw?

average amp draw?

what's the spec on amp draw while the car is sitting with all lights, etc off. I thought it was under 20 milli-amp was spec. anyone tell me? I have a battery draw problem and was wondering what the shop manuals had to say about it.

Ive always used 50 milliamps buts its usually pretty obvious went you have a draw because not many circuits have current draws in the milliamp range.

Yes it is about 20 miliamps....

What I did is I removed ALL the fuses and put them all back in, one by one, until I found the circuit that was drawing 2 amps and killing my battery. It was the ACC circuit, with my compass mirror and center console VFD display :P Disconnected those and now it's all back to 20mA like it's supposed to be :P

it was my autometer tach was continously on. still have a .3 amp draw, at least it's down from 4.XX amp draw. i believe the voltmeter is wired up to be constant hot too as well, by accident of course.
