Jet chip finally installed!
Well after 8mo. or so, I finally put the chip in!!! My first attempt was a failure, they gave me the wrong chip
So on a nice day like saturday I put it in, and I noticed a difference! Nothing huge, but I can get her to churp second!!! Not bad, if anything i hope it helps w/ gas mileage!!! Our cars are soooo much fun to drive

You can't possibly expect a chip taht lets you now chirp the tires to give you better gas mileage, can you?
For the price you probably paid for that chip, you could have gotten into burning your own PROMs and would have made a huge difference. Those chips usually just turn the fans on a bit earlier and advance timing (requiring higher octane gas typically).
I bought a burner off eBay for $65 shipped (can get them for $55 shipped for a diff model), two EEPROMs for $6 each, a 28pin DIP switch for $7, a "BIN switcher" for $10, and that's all you really need to burn your own chips. 65+6+6+7+10 = $94, plus the $30 ALDL cable and a laptop (*ANY* laptop will do) for datalogging.. Then you can make a chip for performance, gas mileage, or emissions and switch between them with the flip of a switch.

Ya i would have no clue where to go after all that spending. Is it as simple as it sounds or do you have prior programming knowledge.
