clik clik clik wtf wont start

Car: 1991 Camaro Z28
Engine: 305 Tpi (and not the average)
Transmission: 5 spd warner
clik clik clik wtf wont start

I have a 91 z28 and sometimes when i try to start it it clicks, prolly 3 or 4 times b4 finally turning over ne1 kno y and possibly how to fix it

Try a new starter solenoid if you have a good charge on the battery.

I've taken apart an old starter that did this out of curiousity to find a bad/cooked section in the commutator (I guess that's it) where the brushes contact it.
For the price and trouble, just replace the starter.

connections

Make sure to check all your electrical connections. Check sure they are clean at both battery posts or terminals. That your ground wire sre not corrodide or broke off. Check that you have grounds to the block and body or fram. I had this problem on my car.
