dimmer switch or wiring issue?

Headlights don't want to work when I select dims.

I have all other lights, just not the dim ones. I ended up unpluging the bulbs on bright so I can drive without blinding anyone.

Also I noticed my intermitant wipers don't like to work, this is one the same switch.

should I replace the switch first or look for other wiring issues?

Maybe the bulbs are burnt out

All four bulbs light up on bright. When I click for dim all 4 bulbs go out. I unplugs the wiring from the inside lights to keep from blinding people.

Check for 12V at the tan wire of the plug, when the switch is on and in the low beam position. If you have 12V, then your low beam filaments in the outer bulbs are burnt out, and you need to replace the bulbs.
