Dash Lights are out!! Fuses are all good
I was driving home from the airport, decided to stop for a bite to eat. Pulled into the parking lot (Dash lights working fine), and shut off my car. Then I decided just to go home, so I then started my car up and proceeded to drive away. It was at this point that I noticed the dash lights not working. The next morning, I checked all the fuses in the fuse box and they are all okay. Everything else in the car seems to be working, when I push the dimmer switch all the way up to turn on the interior lights, it works fine, so Im thinking its not the dimmer switch. Is there another fuse somewhere in behind the dash?? I replaced all the dash bulbs about 3 years ago, whats the chances they all burnt out at the same time??
Any ideas?? Cause Im stumped. Im going to pull the dash apart this weekend, so Im hoping to get some input on what to look for?
Cheers

Does anyone have any ideas?? Its nasty driving at night, not seeing your guages.
I wish I had the answer- I'm in the same boat... I was installing 145mph glow gauges faces on my 92Z when I ran into a problem. While I was disconnecting my fog lamp switch I accidentally made a bad contact with the end of a flathead screwdriver.
I replaced the blown fuse but later noticed that my dash lights were out.
I've rechecked all of the fuses and they are fine. My dome light comes on as well. I'm wondering if a relay could possibly be involved in this situation?
I'll probably work on my car again tomorrow so I'll let you know if I find anything out... Until this problem is fixed I guess we will both be living dangerously.

Did you guys ever figure it out, because I did the same thing trying to fix my fog lights(made a bad connection).
I got my dash lights working by replacing the remote dimmer module.
It's a shiny cylinder-shaped thing under the dash. There's a good picture of it here on this post: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=254117 Thread
